Application Tips
In general, PROGRASS® Herbicide should be applied in the fall. If overseeded, do not apply sooner than six to eight weeks after seedling emergence of Kentucky bluegrass and creeping bentgrass. For ryegrass, treatment can be made as early as one to two weeks after seeding.
Spring applications are recommended following fall applications for ryegrass and bentgrass to enhance the rate of conversion to these turfgrasses. Spring applications are more effective if preceded by a fall program.
Customized Program Tip
Prograss is most effective as part of a customized program. Because Prograss works as both a pre- and postemergent, the timing of applications and the rates used should be customized to the turf's species and varieties being treated as well as the unique location for each application. The program should be combined with non-chemical control techniques to achieve the best long-term results.
