Bayleton®
Bayleton® Flo
Bayleton® is formulated as a 50 percent water-dispersible granule, and is available in water-soluble packets and in mini-drum packaging for easier storage and transport.
To Control Summer Patch
- Start treatment when midday soil temperature reaches 60 degrees at 2- to 3-inch depth for 5 days. Continue treatments at 30-day intervals.
- If applying 2 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet or less, irrigate immediately following applications of Bayleton® to move the active ingredient into the crown and root zone of the turf.
- During peak disease periods, raising the height of cut will alleviate turf stress.
To Control Take-All Patch
- Start treatment in the fall when midday soil temperature has declined into the 60 – 65° F range at 2-inch depth. Follow with second application 28 days later.
- In the spring (May), when soil temperature are rising into the 60 – 65° at 2-inch depth, treat with Bayleton again.
- Use a minimum of 2 gallons per 1,000 square feet of spray volume when applying Bayleton. If 2 gallons per 1,000 feet is not used, follow immediately with 1/8 to 1/4 inch of irrigation water.
Bayleton can be tank mixed effectively with other fungicides to provide further broad-spectrum control. Bayer Environmental Science recommends mixing Bayleton® with Compass® fungicide for protection from brown patch, anthracnose, gray leaf spot, leaf spot, patch diseases and more. This tank-mix combination treats the plant from the inside and outside, and it is rainfast within two hours.
